Dr. Galarce brings to the table over two decades of experience in behavioral science. He is committed to improving consumer engagement and health outcomes through the application of behavioral, analytical, and product design principles. Dr. Galarce’s expertise is driven by a longstanding interest in the translation of individual behavior change into population-level gains in health and expenditure.
Dr. Galarce’s work at Rally Health focused on research, engagement, user experience, and strategy to impact health outcomes. There, he leveraged his expertise in strategy and analytics to translate data insights into actionable product improvements and business solutions. Having built strong internal and external partnerships throughout his tenure at Rally, Dr. Galarce drew on these partnerships to drive a focus on product value across the causal chain, from user engagement to behavioral change to health improvements to cost savings.
Dr. Galarce’s work is informed by an extensive background in academic research and experimental design. Prior to his time at Rally, was a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health & Society Scholar. He also served as a Senior Research Scientist at the University of California, Berkeley, and as a postdoctoral research Fellow at Harvard University’s School of Public Health. He holds a Ph.D. in Brain Sciences from Johns Hopkins University.
